Bruce Logue
Executive chef and owner, BoccaLupo
Atlanta native Bruce Logue lives on the Westside, but his much-touted Italian restaurant, BoccaLupo, is in Inman Park. If you’ve dined at the cozy locale, you’re familiar with his handmade pastas presented with Southern flair.
Favorite restaurant: Le Fat, Westside
Why he loves it: It has a great vibe and cocktail situation. They’re using very solid flavors that you’d normally find in a hole in the wall on Buford Highway, but everything here has been put through Guy Wong’s chef lens.
Favorite dish: The drunken noodles. I’m into pasta and noodles, so it stands out. It’s not very saucy because it’s made with an oil-based sauce and soaks up all of the spices. There’s not much liquid because everything gets absorbed by the noodles, making them slick. It’s simple and has focus and that really resonates with me.
