The holiday season provides a great time to reconnect with family and friends, and celebrate the important things in life: love, laughter and kindness. It also reminds us that not everyone is as fortunate as others, and it’s important that we step up to bridge that gap and share our time, talents and money with those in need. By donating a few hours to work in a soup kitchen, giving those unworn clothes from our closets or writing a check to help purchase much-needed supplies, every effort—big or small— is crucial to helping others when life is tough.
